What exact codes are you pulling? Easy way to test the MAF is to tap it with the handle of a screwdriver with the engine running. If you notice a change in idle, like a stumble or your stumble disappears, it is bad. Also try wiggling the wires on the MAF pigtail and look for the same thing. Sometimes those wires work themselves loose.

Also check your plug wires again. Make sure you didn't cross any of them, and make sure all of them are AWAY from your exhaust. A burnt plug wire will cause a misfire and affect the rest of the engine, because the PCM tries to make up for the loss of a cylinder. When you pulled the cap off the opti, did you see any moisture/oil in there?

what happend exactly is, car had misfire but wasnt bad (noticable though) took it to the shop, so he said lets do a tune up since it hasnt had one for a while, we did so, it gotten wors, when im driving hit the gas u could hear somethign pops up in the bottom of the motor and starts skipping. first thing came to my mind is the wires, but went back and cheked he said theyr fine and right where they should be, jacked it up, AND DID SEE AN OIL LEAK leaking on the ignition, so we changed the roto cap, drove it same thing. does it have one ignition coil? or 8 of em???

Um, that doesn't sound good. Can you be more descriptive? Where does it sound like it's coming from? Does it do it in the whole RPM band, or only at certain speeds or in certain gears?

Do you have an auto tranny? If you feel something hit the floorboard when you floor it, you may have broken your tranny mount.

LT1's only have one ignition coil, which sends the voltage to the optispark, which then sends it to all 8 cylinders. So what part of your ignition is being leaked on? I'm guessing the opti.
