Misfire- help

lt1 motor
Problem was that i was getting break up high rpms and on the bottle the shot was not effective

1st i replaced the plugs and gapped them lower .35 ngk tr6

2nd i replaced opti with a newer one i had laying around from another motor.

after this step the break up was even worse after u drive it for a bit. initially the car would run strong through the gears for about 1 - 2min then very bad break up.

3 test ohms in spark plug wires.
possibly this is where the problem is. i know its 40-50 ohms per foot does this seem okay?

Cyclinder 1 55 ohms
Cyclinder 2 64 ohms
Cyclinder 3 65 ohms
Cyclinder 4 89 ohms
Cyclinder 5 75 ohms
Cyclinder 6 112 ohms
Cyclinder 7 110 ohms
Cyclinder 8 126 ohms

My coil is a new msd coil as well. possibly defective?

Suggestions to the issue, other trouble shooting suggestions.

Re: Misfire- help

you are doing a good job and awnsering most of your own questions. looks like your rear wires are getting destroyed by heat soak. are they new?

Re: Misfire- help

yes they are 1 month old and i just went to autozone and picked up a new pair of plug wires and it actually got worse!

so i figured out what was causing the bad miss

The TPS was bad now i face another problem. I and loosing power all over feels fuel related. My plugs look clean as a whistle so im guessing im running lean. now i need to find out if its the FPR sensor or fuel pump. my guess is fuel pump because it does decent on motor but on the bottle its awful! spraying a 150 shot with stock pump might have killed my pump what do you guys think?
