Misefire at the Redline

My car misfires at the redline, consistently at the same spot. What could it be? The plugs and wires are both new. Could it be that i need a new coil? Or is it time to replace the opti? I'm thinking its the opti, but if some of you could give me some of your thoughts that would be great.

Thanks

Ummmmm. You might be feeling the rev limiter, unless you disabled it? Stop hitting it.

You have an A4, unless your manually shifting it your not hittin the limiter without running the gear out first. I had a problem with it doing that so I just went in and blew everything off real good with the air compressor all around the electronics and the opti, moisture on an opti can be decieving, if problem pursists-probably time for a new opti. Although, what kinda plugs you running?

Another possibility is that your transmission is slipping or low on fluid and it takes too long to shift, thus hitting the rev limiter.

I'm pretty sure the guy i bought the car from replaced them with the factorty AC Delco ones. When my headers go on in a couple weeks i was going to get them to put in NGK TR55's. Thanks for the info so far, anyone else have anything to add?
