Thats a nice looking piece

So are you planning to use a stock pan with this? And if so, do you have to modify the pan to fit properly? And what main cap studs did you use to mount it?

This is with covette block. The stud are APR 234-5601. The cap are Pro Grams for 4-bolt main block (striaght caps). No stock pan modification needed.

I have a copy of that windage tray made by Speedway. It went on my L98 buildup with a Vortec 4 bolt block. Used the Speedway bolt kit for the windage trays. I used the Milodon 6 quart oil pan that is paterned after the factory oil pan. Fit with no problems.

I am running the same windage tray on my LT1 Monte. Its a 383 with 6" rods and had no clearance issues with the crank, rods, eagle splayed caps, or oilpan

I've got one at home in my basement. I never used it I put the factory back in when I did the rebuild. I was having some clearance issues at the fron of the tray and the pan for some reason. I wonder why?

I have used several of these strippers, also pans with trap door for oil control. I add a splash shield at oil pump to keep oil off 7+8 rods and pistons. I have been satisfied with any product I used from Milodon so far. Danny Mc
