I have the mods listed in my sig and am getting pretty good gas mileage...28 MPG hwy 22 city with the 224/232(112) 51010 SLP cam, .502/.510 lift. Considering I haven't even installed roller rockers or an LT4 chain, I think that's pretty good. I have a cc306 in my stroker I'm not going to be using because I think it'll be to mild for my new 383 for another project...and when I swapped chains I was considering using it in my LT1. Not concerned about streetability, just dont want my mileage to drop to roughly half of what I have now.

Keep in mind I haven't done heads, TB, AFPR, injectors, roller rockers or roller chain yet, but will. should help with mileage...this is my daily driver car too.

either way will be changing to a Comp 987 rather than the LT4 in there now. My power drops off around 5250 where it should be peaking but has a strong midrange...kinda like the valves are starting to float...

anyone getting good mileage with a cc306?

 

With the T-56 and 4.10 gears I get 24+ MPG on the highway.
