Might get a 95 Z..

I am looking at my buddys 95 i picked up for him, it needs a fuel pump and wont get any fire for some reason, just replaced the opti and waterpump for we got the car missing these things, i may pick this car up so i can drive it daily, it is the dark green, black stripes, m6, T-tops, i was wanting any opinions to assist the purchase, i will have to install the pump my self, no big deal, but the car is leather, all power with a minor usual rip in the driver seat, 2300$ what do you guys think, i usually get crazy with my 3rd gens but this will possibly be only subject to bolt ons.

If the body is sound, I would go for it. Maybe he'll take 2K even for it.

Sounds like an awesome deal. Besides the 95's look way better than the LS1's

Ofcourse when you go T/A I think the LS1>LT1 look.

If you buy it and replace the fuel pump you may want to research the cutting the trap door method. It can save you a lot of time and headache.

Well, i paid 2000$ today, i still owe 300$ but it gets power to the fuel pump and power to the ignition control module, and coil, still no spark or puel pump whine or pressure, any suggestions? i am trying to get the new addition of the family on the road ASAP, any ground issues or anything like that? the car was sitting for a year with the waterpump removed, it now has a new water pump and optispark, any info to assist me is greatly appreciated.

If you don't hear the fuel pump prime, it probably isn't working. (or blown fuse)

The stock pumps are not the greatest. Sure many people never have a problem, but there are a lot us that have had to replace them, even with low miles on them.

Allright, i have a new pump, people say these are a pain to replace but i have done it before, not fun but now big deal, a little time consuming but so is a motor install, what about the spark, is it really possible that the ign. cont, module went out from sitting?
