Question In The Middle Of Fuel Pump Install......quick Question

Does the strainer have to go from left to right or is it front to back?

Does it even matter?

Reason why is because I found it easier to put the sending unit in with the strainer front to back. Will that be a problem????

Thanks

It probably doesn't matter. I mounted mine left to right as that's how the stock one came out. If your arm's thin enough to stick in the tank and guide the assembly in place you should be able to get the strainer in the right position.

I don't think it matters. I just put mine on there however I felt like it and no problems yet.

The strainer is flexible so it's not putting any load on the retaining surface.
