Thumbs up Re: Meziere water pump.....

Meziere sells a wiring harness you can buy for like $30. I just bought some extra wire of the same gauge as the harness and some splice connectors and went to town. This harness comes with the relay and inline fuse. Very nice set-up if you ask me. It's a Bosh realy and I found this website on line that listed how to hook up the wiring. For the switch on the relay, I used the fan switch in the relay box under the hood. On mine the wire was orange.

You defintley have to remove the stock water pump. As far as the gear hole, I bought the pump used and already mounted on the housing ready to go, so I didn't have to deal with all that. I believe people just use a frezze plug. Not sure what size. Hope this helps some.

The pump comes with a brass freeze plug. To install it you'll ned to remove the impeller and shaft. A press works great and I imagine a punch and a hammer would work too. Make sure you press the shaft out of the BACK of the pump(press from the front or impeller side), as it'll only come out one way.
