Unhappy Meziere replacement-doesnt lose coolant?

Hey guys noticed some seppage from the weep hole on my aged Meziere. My car runs hot out here in Vegas with the AC on and 100*+ temps but my coolant is always perfectly full-right to the top of the radiator. This pump seen some major miles, Im guessing 20-30k but it still runs and there is a steady stream when I look into the radiator. I did remove my heater core hoses the other day,saw some sludge,so I'm due for a backflush.
So would you replace your Meziere if you werent losing coolant but knew the thing was way old? Obviously I always have an eye on the temp guage so I'm not worried about complete failure, just if its working at 100% TIA, opinions?

If it were me I would flush the whole cooling system and get whatever sludge out and make sure your cooling system is working properly. Then if your car still ran a little hotter than normal and you still saw the seepage, I would replace the pump since it has seen quite a few miles. Worst case, call Meziere and see what they think of the mileage on the pump, they might recommend that you send it in and get it rebuilt, but it will still be cheaper than buying new. Good luck with it.

You may want to look into the lawsuit concerning Dex Cool, solidifications in the system etc. I have been running the green stuff in mine for 3 years with no problems.

Replace the pump and get some EVANS coolant. It will bring the temp down but there can be NO water in the system at all. Ya got to drain it and let the rest evaporate or do like they tell ya on their site.

I've looked into evans and seriously considered it, until I read you cant run it with an electric WP. If some have been successful with it and the elec. WP I'd go for it. I didnt realize I could have the pump rebuilt, either way thats what I'll do to save some $$. And of course a full flush is due. I've been running the green stuff for years too so I guess I cant get into the lawsuit?

I run a EWP with it as per THEIR recommendations.

well well thats fantastic news! Honestly I was about to get the stuff and was told to hold off by members here in Vegas. Did your running temps increase at all? I know thats common, just wondering how much.

On a manual gage about 6*. It is taking out more heat. I also have e 3 row 1" flue radiator. Running 13.3-1 static compression on pump gas.

I red the requirements but dont want to shell out the $$ for a new radiator. Do you think it will still be OK?

With the stock radiator IF it is clean, might do it.
Ya will certainly be better of than ya were.
Remember NO thermostat, and bleed the air out and get ALL the water out of the system. Ya have to plug the bypass hole inside the water pump.
It's all on their site if ya nose around.

Is the bypass hole different than the TB bypass hole? I went to the site and read the LT1/LT4 requirements where I read about the radiator requirements.

The bypass hole is in the water pump.

Ya have to use a flat freeze plug and epoxy(2 part) it over the hole.A quarter will do. Make sure the housing is CLEAN so it will stick.
The bypass hole is the hole ya see through the Tstat bore looking from the top of the Tstat bore where the Tstat goes.
If ya were like me I taped it and Locktited a pipe plug in it.
