I had been having problems with keeping oil pressure in the higher rpms 4000+ . So i did some searching on here and everyone said it was the stock pan.

well they were right. I bought the LT1 moroso pan with the correct melling pickup tube and now my oil pressure is perfect. 80 PSI at WOT!!

So, Thanks so much for this forum!!! It saved me from pulliing a perfectly good motor just to see there was nothing wrong with it!!

ps. I had to mod the pan pretty good to get it to go on while the motor was stil in the car. a lil cutting and welding was needed.

 

yep...glad you found your issue early. some of us learned an expensive lesson with this issue. got any track times with your car?

 

the best i have done tith the car here in vegas is a 11.005 @ 132

I know the car has some better times in it i just havenet went to the track that often
