black box next to air filter housing

black box next to air filter housing

i was wondering what this black box is next to the stock air filter housing? it has some electrical connectors coming from it what is it and what does it do?

A pic would be helpful or more of a description. There are several things going on over in that general area, ie: air pump, ignition coil, fuse box, ect.

sorry about the lame discription, ok its right behind the drivers light on my ta, to the right of the air filter housing if your looking facing the car and slightly below the fuse box, it has the word "guide "on it ???????
