Has anyone had any work done with these guys? I am thinking about getting them to do some block work for me but they seem a little pricey. Just want some input.

I think Karl Ellwein has had them do some dyno work. They also place fairly well in the engine masters competitions. I think they are Ford specialists but I'm sure they know their stuff when it comes to other makes.

 

They have performed some work for me, (not block work), but balance work and yes I use their engine dyno. Mark is one of those masters that you hope will take you under his wing and hope some knowledge will rub off. Mark designed the blower motor pistons used in my customer ERE-383 motors and Mark/Heather McKeown are Ross pistons #1 favorite and priority customer, (preferential treatment without the rush $$).
He has some new fancy CNC machine that will blueprint a block and I've been meaning to see how it works with my LT1 cores but McKeown Motorsports is one of those places that are so very very busy.......

I use Advanced Automotive, (same industrial park as McKeown), for most of my machine work now. Very good work and very fast.

But I would use McKeown too. It's nice to have multiple places to get your work completed in a timely manner.

Mark McKeown is now getting into LSX and LT1 motors, (he's a big Ford favorite). Car Craft is using him for their upcomming LT1 projects....(I know that because you'll see me in there too).

I have seen alot of their stuff at tracks. Talked to mark a few times about one of the turbo 351 cars. He knows his stuff and they are on the cutting edge with some of their NMRA stuff

 

Yeah, I knew they were big dogs in the Ford community, it's good to hear that they are sharing some interest in engines that make real power, lol!
