Maybe Blown Head Gasket ?

Ok I took my valve covers off to check my lash and found some milk on the passanger side valve cover. I drained the oil and found no signs of water in the oil I took the sparkplugs out and nothing came out of holes My coolent level is fine I also drained it and it was nice and green. Would the Cold cause this to happen if the car sits for about 3 months in the 15-20 degree weather

Wrong forum. This topic is basic "LT1 Based Engine Tech" material. You'll get a lot more responses there. I'll move it to the correct forum for you.

PS: The answer is yes, cold weather and/or short drives will cause what you are seeing.

I know when I drained the coolant and oil when I blew my headgasket I did not see any sort of mix, but I was blowing out ALOT of smoke and running very sluggish. My plugs also looked fine. If the lt1 is running a bit sluggish or you're seeing alot of smoke, get it diagnosed at a mechanic for about 40$. That's what I did.

yeah the weather could do it, but I would really watch for white smoke, that would be a telltale sign of the gasket blowing.

Common thing that I saw in the winter with mine. I wouldn't worry about it.
