max rpm on 2-bolt main block

max rpm on 2-bolt main block

Just wondering what you guys think the max safe rpm on a 2-bolt ARP studded lt1 block would be...

most people turn about 6800 i would not do that all the time though

Would 6,200 rpm be on the safe side?

Alright... I'm kinda debating on whether or not to keep the cam I got then... I'm thinking it's going to need more than 6800rpm.

I have my rev limiter set at 6250 with my Accel box and I have bounced it off the limiter more times than I care to remember, its a stock LT1 with boltons and has 156k on it now.
