Did it come out of a MasterCraft competition ski boat (Indmar Marine)? The marine engines also have iron heads.

I can't remember the details (it's been a while), but did Indmar Marine add coil-pack/s to replace the Opti in the marine version? For some reason, I though the Indmars had the Opti??? Take some detailed photos of you friends MasterCraft and post them here. Additionally, I know someone who has a MasterCraft with the LT engine locally.

They have a 4-coil "lost spark" ignition, like the Northstar. That system only requires a crank position sensor, not a cam position sensor. It must have a different computer, because the LT1 PCM requires the Opti signals.

I have a complete wireing harness in my garage for a marine LT1. I have everything coils and ECM. The reason I have never made use of it is because it is untunable. But it does have its own harness. It has connections for MAP, TPS, CPS, I am trying to think of what else off the top of my head.

I think Indmar Marine was the only company that did the marine conversions on the LT engine. And, MasterCrafts were the only ski boats that the LT engines were offered in.
