MAP sensor ?s
MAP sensor ?s
What is the part number for a Map sensor?
I went to the dyno and my fuel/air ratio was a roller coaster. Turns out it was the Map sensor had gone bad. Also had a large amount of false knock even with the lt4 km. We scanned it and that is what came up.
my F/A was going from like 11.4 to 17.5 then it would even out and the go crazy again. anyways I put down 330rwhp with my a/f ratio going crazy and my map sensor dead or almost dead.
Right now I am putting silicone caulking on my lt4 km to deaden it even more. I am also about to do the throttle body bypass.
Before I go back I will also have a new map and cut-out on there hoping to gain quite a bit....? what does everyone think?

If your MAP sensor was truely defective, it could also explain the knock retard problem. One of the "lookups" in the timing table is MAP. For lower MAP values, you could have been getting way too much advance for WOT conditions.
How did you verify the MAP sensor is defective?
Just curious... how would "putting silicone caulking on (your) lt4 km"... "deaden it even more"? The knock module is a filter, not a sensor. Are you putting the caulking into the PCM? Strange.....
