map sensor part #

hey what is the part # for the map sensor?, and where could i get a high performance, map sensor? or a part # for that? anybody, know? thanks

Just curious... are you doing this because you read the thread about the "cure all" for bad gas mileage and performance by replacing the MAP sensor.... even if there is nothing wrong with it?

What is a "high performance MAP sensor"? I need to know this too.

basically because i read that article. and I heard someone talk of a high performance map sensor. this is all new to me. any answers would be helpful thanks

A p/n was posted in that thread.

No need for a "high performance" sensor (never heard of such a thing), since all it does is read the engine vacuum. Any thing you want to do high performance-wise with the readings would be done with pcm programming.
