My brother has a 91 jimmy, but his MAP sensor looks identical to my Z. He has thrown a code saying that either his EGR or his MAP is fubared. We just fixed his EGR (we think). I was wondering if there was a way to test to see if it is his MAP sensor. Thanks!

 

You could get a scan tool and take a look at the MAP values. That would be the best way to verify proper operation IMO.
