to many miles???

my car has 137k miles on it.... is that tomany to do the le1 up grade?? should i look at rebuilding the bottom end?? i got lots of bolt ons now but looking for more hp (as always)!! thanks

You can do it.. just make sure you have the funds to rebuild in case something does happen.

You don't want to spend all your cash and then end up stranded w/o a car needing a rebuild!

i have been reading that i should replace timing chain and push rods.. i understand why the timing chain, but why the push rods??? what about rockers??

Its good insurance to do the pushrods, TrickFlow pushrods Summit sells are a good deal

Total crap shoot. I wanted to the LE1 on mine at 75K and found the cam bearings shot upon removing the cam. Many encounter this on the LT1. I suggest you plan for the worse just in case. I used it as an oppurtunity to build a new motor (see sig).
