Manuel Tranny Fluid Flush
Manuel Tranny Fluid Flush
Tranny has 120k and it's time to change the fluid. I have the Dexron II/III AT fluid ready. My main question is, if there's a flush for manual tranny's and if I should flush the tranny. I noticed Sea Foam sells a flush for Automatic's but not Manuels.

I don't know what you mean by flush..? But, on 6-speed 4th Gen. F-bodies, there is a fill plug and drain plug, both on different parts of the tranny, easy to find. The drain plug is on the side, the fill is more near the top. Be ready when you pull that drain plug, it will shoot a couple of feet to the side. Checkout http://www.projecttransam.com or shoebox's fix-it sections and you'll find info. Also, on the main page of my website, you can DL a .PDF Complete Manual for the T-56 Borg-Warner 6-Speed Manual Transmission [93-02] . HTH.
Yep...

There's magnets in the bottom of the case, so whatever is in there probably isn't going anywhere until the tranny comes apart.
