manifold vacuum source?

I would like to check the vacuum of my engine to help diagnose a poor running condition. I'm looking for a source of manifold vacuum, not ported vacuum. which sources would work? anyone comming off the sides of the intake manifold? the lines going to either EGR solenoid or fuel pressure regulator?

thanks

Right on the side of the manifold there is a vacuum tree that you can tap right into. I believe the hose size is 3/16. Dont unplug the FPR that will set the car's fuel pressure dead rich. good luck~~~~~~rob

Use the one under the fuel psi line, it's for your vent controls and it's manifold vac. If you use the regulator vac line your giving full fuel psi at an idle and that wouldnt be true vac reading at idle.

Any port on the intake manifold (excluding TB) is engine (non-ported) vacuum.
