Manifold studs - Y Pipe
After searching the forums, I have not found any threads on the topic of removing the studs from the exhaust manifold (where the Y pipe connects).
Upon taking off my stock Y pipe to replace it with a JEGS variant, the threads on a few of the studs got a tad undersized. I am guessing it was rust or something that was on/in in the nut when I took it off. I am thinking of undersizing it with a die.. from a 3/8 to a 5/16.
Any thoughts? Thanks!
