What about window tint? If I used dielectric grease on my window (which has tint) would it mess up my tint? I think a lot of people would like to know about this. If it doesnt show up NOW, what about in a few months from now? Any long term effects?

From the sound of this post. I highly doubt that there has been any long term testing. Also, on another note, like shoebox said, it is the silicone that is allowing it to move faster. Therefore, why not use a silicone spray (which dries) to make it move faster. It doesn't have all the harsh anti-corrosive agents in it, therefore, it should have no ill-effects on your window tint.

Are you talking about the wetherstripping on top of the door? I just want to make sure I'm looking at the same thing.
