Main cap positions

i think the machine shop mixed up my main caps is there anyway to tell if they are int he right position by the numbers on them?

Should have cast in numbers 1-5 front to back and a triangle pointing front.

if its not cast on them, one by one will have to torque them down and have the bore measured with a bore gauge

there r two sets of numbers one is the same on all caps and the others are 793 775 762 782 on the four caps

To my knowledge all late model blocks have cast numbers designating position..

No worries man. If I had been screwed over by a shop i'd be hesitant to just go with the flow too.

my shop did the same thing , here are the numbers on the top of the caps
20, 43, 63, 83, do you guys know which cap goes where? do i read the first number as cap postion 20= #2 piston 43= # 4 piston and so forth??
