Mahle pistons - good deal?
I thought it was, so I will pass it along.
I got a set of flat top Mahle ("Powerpak")+.030 flat top pistons (6.0" rod, 3.75" stroke) for $425 today. I have seen these for $525 at Flatlander and like $569 or something at Jegs, and those were the only "online checkout" sellers that I could find.
Considering that they have the coatings and come with rings for that price, IMO it makes a set of cast KBs plus rings not worth the savings.]
So what is the "normal" price for these, since I have found a $100+ difference among sellers?
