magnaflow catback w/ pacesetter LTs
magnaflow catback w/ pacesetter LTs
i installed this setup about a month ago, but didnt have the stock rear hangers. i purchased a set of hangers and could not get them to line up right (not sure which one goes on which side either). It almost seems as though i have to cut an inch or so off the pacestter ORY ro get everything to line up correctly. I got the hangers on and bolted up once, but the tips were not even close to being an even distance out the bumber. Anyone else with this or a similar setup run into this problem?
Ive got the same setup (sounds good), anyway, I had lots of problems. First the Y pipe didnt want to go into the magnaflow pipe, so I just notched the y pipe, and forced it in. Next problem was that the tips looked like crap. They werent flush with the bumper cover at all. I fabed up some hangers, and messed with it for a while to I got it looking halfway decent. The problem is that the over axle pipe gets in the way of the tips. Just mess with it for awhile. You probably wont get it perfect. I ened up getting the pipes bent a little at an exhaust shop. Two problems to look ot for in the future are the ORY might hit the frame when you torque up the motor. Most gust running LTs have this problem. I just got some prothane motor mounts, and transmission mount. It fixed the problem. Next problem you might have is knock retard. I dont have this problem, but if you do get the Lt4 Knock module. Good luck
