Magnaflow catback w/off-road pipe and headers = big thumbs up

Whoever thinks magnaflow is quiet is on crack! With my headers and no cat, the things sounds awesome! and its plenty loud too. any louder, and it would be plain azz annoying. I'm so glad I switchwed to this catback and threw out the ol' flowmaster catback. No more dronning!

Same thing i just did last week. Headers, NO cat, and magnaflow, ditched the flowmaster/catco that came with the car.

Its quite at cruising but sounds good when your getting on it.

Plus the tips

i agree with you 100%!!!! I installed my mac mids, ory, and magnaflow last week and couldnt be happier with the sound. quiet enough to cruise for long distances on the highway, and mean sounding when you get on it. I went from 99mph traps (stock manifolds/cats/muffler delete) to 104.5 mph on this setup.

Well, I wouldn't consider myself "on crack" but everyone has their own tastes I guess. The long tube and Magnaflow cat-back setup I have does sound amazing and it has gotten numerous complements in the short time it has been installed. But it is a little tame, I guess because I was running the car with open headers for awhile until I got the catback installed. It is nothing a cutout can't take care of, but nonetheless, it is a nice sounding system. And I agree with the above statement, the 3.5 inch polished tailpipes look awesome!

I posted sounds at one time. Had three different ones, stock, stock/magnaflow, and LT/ORY/Magnaflow.

Please right-click and save-as for these:

STOCK Exhaust: http://www.willmannwebsolutions.com/...ck_exhaust.wav - listen to this one first to get volume set for others.
Magnaflow catback on stock manifolds/y-pipe: http://www.willmannwebsolutions.com/...ow_exhaust.wav
Hooker LT headers, Mufflex ORY, and Magnaflow catback: http://www.willmannwebsolutions.com/..._magnaflow.wav

These were all recorded from approx 3-4 feet from the rear of the car, centered between the exhaust tips, and using my laptop computer. The laptop was sitting on the ground during recording.

Nice! not too different at idle but it really wakes up when you rev it

have mac headers w/ory and magnaflow. Sound is amazing. Not crazy loud at idle, but has a nice grumble, and when you open it up it sounds great. You can hear it from 3 blocks away if you want people to. I love it. I fell in love w/magnaflow when I Heard it on my buddies ram.
