MAF part # Question Shoebox, Jason, Dal or whoever

1994-1997 MAF AC-Delco #213-252 25008308 $201.20 How does that come? Does it come as an assembly with the ends and a screen? I am having hell passing emmissions in my county and was told the reason for failed visual is i was running a non stock MAF (GMS) so i want to make the nice people happy and get a stocker. Have not been able to find a good used 100% stock one yet so i just may buy one. Any help is greatly appreciated. I guess i could do like my other cars and register it in another state!

I just bought one not too long ago from Jason. It is the whole assembly in one piece. Better design I gotta say than the original..smoother. The screen does NOT come out like on the original.

Doodad; I take it was plug and play? No new plugs or whatever? And do you remember roughly what you paid?

Yeah it was take old off (still in the garage and was not proven to be the culprit if you want it..was a burnt wire) and plug new in. It is the aluminum ends, sensor plug on top and wires inside all as one part. Can't vouch for the shape after 96K for an emission check, but I won't ask for anything. You pay shipping. Otherwise, one state away from Jason (with relatives in his town) I payed 2 something sorry my files are not here at the compy.

Sure you can't find a used one? I got one from the for sale forum not long ago for $50, but I have seen them cheaper.

Shoebox I have tried to find a used one but either the deal fell through or it had been ported or descreened. I am afraid to buy one off eekbay. I am still running a want to buy ad in in the wanted forum. So maybe. I only have about another 10 days for the correction or i got to do the full test again and of course pay again. This will be a fix i will not take off the car after fighting through hell to tune a ported and descreened MAF.
