MAf have to be certain direction?

I know that the maf has to be goin the right way air wise. Screened side facing filtered air. I was just wondering if the rotational position matters since it has the wing in the middle and has two sensors on one side. Does it need to be a certain way and what is it or doesnt matter?

You can rotate it any way you like as long as the air flow is consistant with the arrow on the MAF.

Nope, doesn't matter. You should buy some electrical parts cleaner and spray it down and see if that helps at all.
