Question Which MAF is better for a 383 with hotcam and heads etc etc

Kinda of a stupid question, but GMS makes or at least calibrate th z06 MAF's that are used on LT1's. They also make a regular MAF, which my friend bought and said he liked.

My question is since my Nu-tek 383, is all set, and bought all my parts. Which is better for the appication, over the stocker unit.

Z06 MAF or Granatelli Motor Sports MAF??

Z06 is far cheaper, and i was wondering if that had a profound impact on performance, or is it the meterials used in construction.

Any input will be much appreciated.

I think most people agree to just stick with the stock one.

Just make sure its calibrated right and that your programming compensates appropriately. Otherwise you'll run too lean and get detonation, etc....

might be worth looking into different ECM/wiring harness options to rid of the MAF in the firstplace. especially if you're going for turbo/supercharger. You can usually find a sweet deal on an accel dfi on ebay like I did. Felpro has a nice setup too. just a thought.
