Maf ?

I have a L99 4.3 I picked up for my S-10 that was set up for speed density and got a MAF from a friend and changed it over using LT1 Edit. I have been having fueling problems since and thought it was the stock injectors because when I first fired it up 2 didnt fire. Got them to fire but was planning to go bigger(for a twin turbo setup) with 30#s. Got them installed and changed the constant to match. Went lean. Went down on the constant to get it driveable. Thought that was from lack of fuel so got a 255 and whole new fuel system. Now it is pig rich and BLMs are pegged at 160 on both sides. Now for My ?s I know they take different MAFs, 1. How do I tell witch one I have? The #(93243 8207 2) on it doesnt match any AC Delco #(213-352 or 213-353) on their site and it is an AC part, 2. If it is for a 350 would it be out of call enough to mess up the fueling? BTW I have no codes for a bad meter. Thanks

I'm not sure what you are asking. Are you asking someone to identify the MAF that you "picked up"?

Shoebox shows the part # for the 94-97 LT1 MAF as 25179711

Also found another # on a barcode sticker (82280025953).I also called AC Delco and they said there is no way to tell what part I have without a box. I think I made the mistake in telling him it was in a S-10 cause all he would say is he couldnt help me modify my vehicle.

There are two different MAFs, one that came in B-body vehicles, and one for F-body vehicles. The F-body MAFs are bigger in diameter. I will check later what the part numbers are on my MAFs that are both from an F-body.

I would call up PCMforless because I think they have started doing work on 4.3s. They know their **** and should be able to help at least with the tuning problem, the Fbody MAF is 3.5" while the ones that came on the Impala I believe were only 3"
