It's a mail order tune for your car. It makes your car run better than it would off of a stock tune. It's cheap and good. It'll do the average guy perfectly well. If you are looking for all out power than you need a dyno tune.

I am VERY pleased with my MadZ28 tune.

The owners name is Ian Sultan. I have had great experiences with his product. He is willing to try to help you out if you have any questions.

I'm pleased with mines as well. Quick turnaround plus I think update tunes are only like $50.

I wouldn't look at getting a tune until you get a cam or heads. To me it wouldn't be worth the time and money to send off your pcm on a stock car.

Oh and unlike some tuners he doesn't lock his tunes so you can't go make minor changes, if change your rear gears or such.
If you use Ed Write he locks his tunes so you can't do you own minor changes.
Ed's tunes are 350 and 125 or 150 updates. Ed's a good tuner but I like to be able to make the minor changes like gears or tires myself.
Just something else to think about.

I may be asking you some questions in the near future for some tweaking on my pcm

I've sent my PCM to him twice, both of which have been very satisfactory. Even on a stock/bolt-on car, you will see a very nice improvement. Considering what a tune costs compared against other mods on the market, I don't think its a bad idea to go forth with it now.

Well worth the money even with a stock car. A full bolt on car even responds better. I'm VERY HAPPY with mine. I hope he has a good tune for my new combo: cc503 and a stage 2 port job with 2.00/1.57 SS valves,52 mm TB, 30# injectors.

He did a pretty good job on my basic bolt-on mail order tune a few years back.
No complaints.

Question for those who have run a MadZ28 tune on a basically stock car. My 95 Z has a Lingenfelter CAI and an SLP Intake Temp sensor (I think that is what it is called) and a Trick Flow elbow. Other than that it is stock. When I get a chance the cat is coming off too.

If I was to get a Mad Z28 tune for my set up, what would the effect be on fuel mileage? Could I expect an increase? With this being my daily driver, weather permitting, it probably wouldn't take long to pay for itself.

Thanks in advance.

I didn't notice a drastic difference in either direction in terms of fuel useage and the tune.
