no it has to be shorties, my car is lowered, i daily drive it and theres a few locals with bashed in mufflex y pipes. that and i have to go through emmisions every two years so i want to be able to swap the cat in and out for the tests. i just want the best shory i can get, if theres like a 3 hp difference between the two then ill go with whats cheaper for me which is the macs.

so i did a search, and well they seem to recomend 1 3/4 for heads and cam cars and the macs 1 5/8 for bolt on cars, so would looking into rksport (copy of as&m) headers be worth it?
