What is a fair price for all new crank and cam bearings, head inspection/milling, and cylinder wall inspection/honing. I am going to be calling some places within the week and would like to have idea if their prices are fair or not.

Not at all the same thing as you are looking at, but similar.

I just had my block done / balanced / assymbled for $1047....
If you take them the bare block...
Bearings should be cheap (labor) shouldnt be much at all... less than $100?
inspect/mill heads < $100, hone... $100? I would say everything should be well under $300 if you take it all apart and nothing goes wrong.

At the same time.... if you are just replacing the bearings you should have the crank checked/polished... lots more to do

Don't be afraid, just go/call one and explain what you need. They will give you an estimate.
