MAC Truefit ????
MAC Truefit ????
Does anyone know if the MAC true fit headers for a single cat 94-95 come with emission fittings? No one at the companies respond to any of my e-mails. The y pipe will have O2 fittings right? BTW i'm looking at the shoties not the long tubes.
The MAC headers for my '93 came with all emissions hook-ups, and O2's bungs. Coincidentally, all my emissions stuff is still hooked up, too. Gotta love a 3448#, N/A car that runs 12.0 with EGR and A.I.R. tubes still hooked up

There is one O2 bung in each header. The Y-pipe is the piping only with flanges on the end, no O2 bungs because they are not needed.
Basically, they have all the emmisions fittings that you need. AIR, EGR and O2's

If i'm thinking right both my O2 sensors are on my y pipe on my current set up (it was on there when I bought the car) does that sound normal? There are 2 holes plugged on the front of each header.
Are the plugged holes on the top of the manifolds? (stock, they are manifolds, not headers) If so, those are the AIR fittings, not O2 fittings.
It doesn't matter where your O2's are now, they will go in the spot that the MAC headers put them in, which is towards the bottom of each header.

Right now I am running headers but the weld around the EGR connection broke so they need to be replaced. There are 2 holes on the front of the headers that are plugged by metal things that look kinda like a mushroom on each side. Both my O2 sensors are hooked up to the y pipe right now (one on each pipe before it merges) What I'm wondering is where do the O2s plug in now? Also what are they connected to now? The car came with headers when I bought it so I have no idea what they are or how it was done.
After really looking at that picture it looks like the O2s plug right into where the 4 tubes join correct? Which means I don't have A.I.R. on my car since its not hooked up now right? I do still have the EGR, is it possible to keep the EGR and not the A.I.R. ?
