Mac Slip Joint Leak Help

I just go under my car to change my plugs/wires and I noticed on the driver side where the primary tube slips in that there are black stains from where it's been leaking. I've heard the stock clamp isn't any good but what can I do or buy to fix this?

I bought a 1 3/4 inch standard muffler clamp and used that on the "flared" end where the #1 primary slips into the collector. If you can slip the tube back out and goop it up with some orange hi-temp copper sealant that would help out a lot too.

Use the "Gold" copper high temp silicone..... Cheap fix, but it helps....
