my car has mac shorties on it, is it worth swapping them out for some jet hoted hooker longtubes? i will also be installing a pro kit soon, will these two conflict?

 

DEFINATELY worth the jump to long tubes. You will notice the increase. As far as lowering the car I am not sure as my car is still the stock height. Right now I dont scrap on anything with my LT's. And some people with lowered cars report not having any problems either, but some people also say that theirs scrap all the time. Install em right and I dont think you will have a problem.
