mac mid's vs hooker longtubes
mac mid's vs hooker longtubes
im goin with ported heads + the gm847, will the mac mids choke that up or no? was thinking about getting longtubes but i dont see why the mac mids would be bad. thanks -dave
I normally say MAC mids, but in your situation, with that much air flowing in the high RPM range, I think LT's are a better option. Either that, or other mids like SLP's or AS&M's or RKSports that have 1 3/4" primaries to help your high end flow.
Your low end will suffer a little due to the larger primaries though.

If we could just get a good dyno and 1/4 mile analysis of headers then we could see both the ET gain, the area underneath the curve, peak, and what is best for our cars for different applications. Thanks GM High Tech Performance
I say try both and tell us your results
