Its the setup Im going to go with and Ive heard lots of good things about them. They supposedly fit very well and should give gains comparable gains to LT's ( little less).

I'm considering this setup as well. One poster, steromandan, installed these on his car and did a dyno run afterwards and saw something like a 25 rwhp gain.

Here's the thread LINK

I made 352 rwhp with my macs. Mine will be coming off soon, because I purchased some Jet-hot long-tubes. I purchased a monster cam and the motor needs to breath better. As soon as the macs are off they will be for sale. I will miss the easy plug access. Their great short or mid-length headers for mild cams.

Yes, I'm very happy with my MAC midlengths. Awesome low end TQ, and big enough to support a good amount of high end HP. It takes a lot to outgrow the MAC's.

Right now, I'm about 30 rwhp and 30 rwtq over stock with my MAC's, CAI and catback, and I'm running through a cat still and a little rich on the a/f ratio. I'm sure it has at least another 5 rwhp in it.

The plug access is great.

The coating from Jet-Hot looks very nice, and really keeps the underhood temps down.

I got the headers and Y-pipe Jet-Hot coated inside and out from www.jet-hot.com for $540 shipped. ( I had a $25 coupon) Normally it's about $565 shipped for the headers and Y-pipe.

I love mine. The only thing you have to watch out for is when installing the y-pipe you need to align everything before bolting the header flanges down. Probably true for any header install, but ya know, we get ahead of ourselves sometimes...

No leaks yet with the provided copper gaskets even though they get a bad rap...

Plus when you get crap on them like oil or something. It all wipes right off

Speaking of these midlengths, where did you guys buy them? I'm looking for a pair myself.
