I'd visit www.jet-hot.com. They sell ceramic coated mac headers which would be your best bet. I think they are 500 and change, shoot them an email.
BTW, do you ever come down to the Cape, Im in sandwich.

and yes im down the cape all the time, i go to the mall in hyannis and i got a friend at tweeter, i surf in nausset, nausste light, coast gaurd, marcony, welllfleet im out thier alot.

The cheapest place to get them will be the "for sale" section of the board. If youre patient, you can catch them for ~$250 there. If you have to get them new, this is about as good of a price that you'll be able to get. If you want a cermaic coated set, add about $150 to that price.

Jet-Hot might be selling them now that they are getting the MAC headers that were on back order. I bought mine from there before the big MAC group purchase.
When did you call them? See if they will be selling them in the future. They are about $560 including shipping unless you have a coupon of some kind.

The MAC coating is not the best. Nothing like ceramic coating.
It's better than nothing, but getting them ceramic coated makes a big difference. Here is a picture of mine with Jet-hot coating.

My macs arent ceramic coated. They have the HTS coating + a coat of high temp header paint because I just couldnt afford to get them coated. (I got mine for $250 used) pics

They aren't stainless.

How is that high temp paint coating holding up? I used some on a couple places where I scratched mine a little. I don't have my PCM back so I haven't been able to drive it since I put the 1200 degree paint on. Is it staying silver?

Well I just got hte headers on last week, about the same time you did. So far everything is staying silver. When I first started the car, they smoked a bit and the coating baked in. Now if you touch them, some of the paint has turned to powder and will stick to your fingers. I dont know if that is a good or bad sign... but we'll see.
If they dont look like theyre going to hold up and I have the money, next year I will ceramic coat them.
