mac headers
I own a 96 z28 and wanted to know what is the difference in fitment on mac headers from the 94-95 to 96-97 this is assuming that i am running the off road pipe because you can pick up the 94-95 models for a hundred dollars cheaper

The 94-95 model is a mid-length header and the 96-97 is a shorty design. If you put the 94-95 part in your car, you will need to do something about the rear O2's, whether it's O2 simms or an OBD1 conversion.
Not 100% positive, but I think the 96-97 does not include the y-pipe. The 94-95 does.

Nope the 96/97 headers come with a dual cat Y Pipe cost is around $750.
The single cat one's come with choice of ORP or single cat.
The thing I'm not sure is if the single cat headers have EGR and AIR compatible for 96/97 cars.
