Angry MAC header fitament

I installed my MAC headers last night. Along with them came some good news and some bad news.
The drivers side #3 tube hit my steering linkage. I had to dimple the tube.
My car is a '93, so the oil pressure sender is just above the oil filter. The driver side header rubs the rubber boot on the wiring connector. Anyone else encounter this? What was your solution? The rubber boot is covered in a thermal insulation. Will this work against header heat?
My adjustable CVR starter wouldn't fit until I rotated the motor/solenoid assembly all the way around (it's now upside down). It fits like that, but the starter motor is now dangerously close to my Y-pipe (not quite hitting it though). Anyone else using one of these starters, or any other adjustable starter?
The #1 tube wasn't even drilled in the right place. They had it drilled for the end hole on the head. On mine, the end hole isn't even threaded...the second hole is.
The good news is, the plugs are alot easier to get to. The only one difficult from the top is the #5 plug.
The funny thing is, I've heard sooooo many people cuss their oil dipstick tubes. Mine slid right out, and right back in...In a matter of minutes!

Just watch the #5 and #6 plur wires. I've burnt mine a couple of times until I put boot protecters on.
