M6 Wiring Harness ?

im jsut about done restoring a 95 Z28 Convert from a bad wreck. I was hooking up the tranny harness ( Its a M6 ) where this harness breaks off the main wiring harness , there is a round shaped plug about as big as a dime or penny by the back of my intake manifold. It has about 2 or 3 inches of wire from the plastic bundle ... what the hell is this and where does it go ? I cant see back there so i felt around for a good 15 mins and cant figure out where it goes ... Also , on the tranny there are 4 sensors ... If facing the front of the car there is one on the right and 3 on the left. I have the 2 plugs in that are towards the middle of the tranny one left and one right , but there are 2 sensors on the back , left side , one almost directly above the toehr ( A few inches apart ). The plug ends were cut off the harness. So i got new plugs , but i need to splice the rite wires to the rite plug. I have four wires down there at the end of the harness, 2 for each plug. Which two go to which plug, and which wire on the new plug should i wire it too ( Example ... The plug is cut from the wires so i have to splice it on , Wires A and B need to be spliced to X and Y ... say X is the right of the plug ( Basing it from looking at the clippy part that holds it on to the sensors ) and Y is the Left side of the sensor... how do i no which wire to connect to which ... ) I guess the real question ive jsut tried to get too is How do i no which side of the sensor is input which is output , and what color wire is input which is output ? ... And pictures of these two rear of the tranny sensors would help ... maybe shoebox can come through and save my *** yet again ... lol O anyone with a good clear pic of the rear of the intake manifold , feel free ... I tried shoeboxes site , couldnt find nothing useful tho unfortunatly ...

"Nothing useful" -how appalling! I'm an A4 guy, but I will try to help.

Maybe the connector that breaks off at the back of the manifold is for the oil pressure sensor? (one tan wire in the plug?)

On the right side of the M6 is the backup light switch.
Wires are light green and brown and the wires break off the harness near where the transmission bolts to the bell housing. Cavity A is brown and B is lt grn.

On the left side in the middle of the tranny is the skip shift solenoid. Wires are brown an grey. Cavity A is gry and B is brown.

Further back on upper left side is the reverse lockout. Cavity A is lt grn and B is brown.

Back lower left side is the VSS. Cavity A is yellow and B is purple.

The book does not show any pics of the connector faces for me to tell you which cavity is on which side.
