m6 tranny oil change has filter?

m6 tranny oil change has filter?

I was wondering if the m6 has some kinda tranny oil filter that must be changed.
do all manuals need/dont need filters or is it by make and model?
thanks for the info.

From: Detroit area
No filter.There is a magnet on the drain plug,clean it off.It holds 4 qts of oil.

the **** faces at autozone (19 year old edger) told me i would need a filter along with 6 qrts of oil
but then again he drives a riced out POS honda
thank god for camaroz28


one more thing, do you have any idea if a m5 v6 mustang has a filter or do all manuals have the magnet thing??

well it has no way of pumping the tranny fluid around so a filter would be of no use. go back to autozone and get 4 quarts of the good stuff like mobil (1?) synthetic tranny fluid
