AS&M throttle body install???'s

I just finished porting my intake and installing my AS&M monoblade and I am left with two connections that go no where.

The one I know is running from the PVC valve in the valve cover to where a connection was on the old throttle body and the other runs from a component on the passengers side of the intake to a port that was on the old throttle body.

I know the valve cover line I could probably just replace it with a valve cover breather, unless there is a better solution.

I don't know what to do with the other line. It's like a vacuum line that runs up to a component right about where you connect the opti at.

Did they send me the wrong TB??

What have you other AS&M owners done with these lines?

Thanks
John

I believe the one at the top should go to the valve cover. I capped mine when I installed my supercharger, I wouldn't recommend it for a NA motor though. The middle fitting should go to a solenoid on the passenger side of the manifold which is part of the emissions system. The bottom one is for the throttlebody coolant line. You can leave that one disconnected as long as you bypass the coolant flow.

The coolant one is already bypassed so thats not a problem. The valve cover on I can just replace with a valve cover breater, right??

Now the emissions one, I have LT's and no emissions so can I just take that whole set up off??

I would run the tube to the valve cover personally. Only reason I didn't was because my supercharger was pressurizing the valve cover when it started to produce boost which was blowing oil out of the dipstick tube.

The middle one should be part of the evap system. Ie. The charcoal canister and other associated parts. I've got mine unplugged as well.

There aren't provisions for either of those...

So just run a breather on the valve cover, and plug the EVAP Canister Purge Solenoid Valve top port with a vacuum cap.

I know I do. The 58mm Holley would look good on my Stealth Ram instead of the rinky dink 48mm stocker with the Vette TB plate. Maybe when my big bad turbo 383 is ready in a year or 5.
