well, i installed long tubes w/ plugs and wires about a month ago. everything has been running awesome until yesterday.

when i was just driving and then went to turn around, i noticed that the car was shaking a little more than often. i stopped and checked wires and so on and so on. everything was okay.

when i started to drive, about 10min later it started to act up again on the highway. it just stumbles. the rpms are fine, oil pressure is fine, no ses lights, plug wires are fine. and at starting, it has no trouble. when driving, if i give it about 1/4 throttle to downshift it picks up power and acts fine.

my guess is that it is a bad opti. what r ur opinions?

 

not ment to be a stupid answer but do you have plenty of gas in the car? when was the last time you changed the fuel filter?

 

check your wires.

 

i already checked the wires

when this started to happen, i was close to empty.

so i filled up and put in fuel injector cleaner. i don't think it is the fuel filter because i can hit the gas (1/4 to 1/2 throttle)and it will go back to normal. if it was a clogged fuel filter, it wouldn't let more fuel through. RIGHT, or i am i wrong. i don't know exactly when it was changed, i think about 2 years ago with 15000 extra on the odometer.
