Exclamation AS&M Headers, What Size bolt to fill the hole?

I've seen some people say 3/4 x 16 and some have said the M-22 oil plug. Anyone with AS&M headers plug there AIR opening in there headers? If so what did you use?

Anyone use the MBA caps?

It seems like everyset of headers has a diff size or style of fitting. Your best bet is if the header isn't on the car, take it to the local hardware store and test fit plugs/caps until you get the right one.

It is and there is no way Im pulling it off for this. Seems like most people are going with the 22mmx1.5 drain plug. For $2 I'll give it a shot.

Goodluck, i hope it fits for you. My SLP's required caps and i've heard of people with diff, size headers saying that they needed diff size plugs. 22mm is the size for 94-95 stock manifolds, so if i was you i would see if the AIR fitting will thread in if it does you need 22mm if it doesn' you need something else.

If it is the '94/'95 style AS&M midlength 1 3/4" headers, then it is M22. You can get an M22 plug for $2 or do what I did a couple years ago, ask for an oil drain plug for an '87 Ferrari and pay $12 a piece at NAPA.

It's an M22 X 1.5. NAPA didn't have one here, so I went to Jiffy Lube and asked for one. It just happens to fit a Toyota truck differential.
