Yes and no....you need part of your factory intermediate pipe to hook up the GMMG to your catalytic converter.

A bit of a staccato open exhaust through a megaphone sound.

Its an entirely stainless steel 3" catback system. Do the install of both headers and the catback at the same time and you wont have to worry about any s-pipe connections.

Check it out on GMMG's site. They are a very good company to deal with.

EDIT: Listened to the sound, doesnt sound real blatty, even though I'm not sure what that is. Sounds throaty to me?!
