anybody have this combo and gets a real loud rasp noise at certain times, usually around 2500 to 3000 rpm. i love what it sounds like except for when it gets this loud rasp at certain times.

 

I ran this combo a while back. I did enjoy the sound also, but I'm not sure of about the rasp sound. I was running with no plate at all, and I don't remember any rasp at a perticular RPM. It was just loud all the time.

What plate (if any) are you running?

 

I get this rasp as well, but I have Hooker. But I know it's my y-pipe.

 

I'm running LT with a Borla (1 1/2" plate) with dual cats and it has very little rasp.

 

i have no cats, could this be the reason. i changed my no plate to the next one down. im about to try the smallest one.
