LTCC Help Needed (3 red flashes)

Hi everyone,
I installed my LTCC on my new engine and it seems to run ok, but I'm getting 3 red flashes from the LTCC box. I did a search and tried other peoples remedies(took the belt of the alternator, tested grounds), but I can't seem to get the red light to go out. Bob is on vacation for a couple of weeks. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Sean

Re: LTCC Help Needed (3 red flashes)

I know this sounds dumb, but when my buddy had this issue on his turbo car, it turned out to be that he had the 1-3-5-7, 2-4-6-8 sides of the thing turned around, so make sure you don't have them switched. Also, Bob said that the white wire is most likely the culprit. Hope this helps?

I'll check it out, my car didnt have a white wire, so I connected it to the solid yellow wire.

The problem seems to be intermittent. I'll check the LTCC box and I'll see a green light, and other times I'll see three flashes. I think I'll shield the opti signal wires and see if that helps.

I fixed it by shielding the OPTI signal wires with aluminum foil and then grounding the foil shield. The wire/foil fit inside the loom, so it looks clean. Something in the car must be RF noisy. Works well now
